No — all window tinting is done at our El Cajon shop. A dust-free, climate-controlled bay is the only way to get a flawless finish with no debris trapped under the film. Our auto glass service does travel to Santee, but tint is in-shop only.
About 15 minutes. Take Mission Gorge Rd south, or the 52 to the 125 south and exit Fletcher Pkwy — we are on N Magnolia Ave with free parking on site.
Two windows start at $99, five windows from $169, and a full seven-window package from $199. Ceramic and 3M Crystalline cost more but reject far more heat. Every price includes installation and a lifetime warranty.
California allows 70% VLT on the front side windows and any darkness on the rear side and rear windshields. The windshield takes only a clear UV film or a 4-inch strip at the top. We walk you through the limits before anything goes on.
Yes. We tint everything from compact sedans to Suburbans, Sequoias and lifted F-250s. Larger vehicles take a little longer and the seven-window package covers them fully.
Wait three to five days so the film can fully cure and bond to the glass. Rolling the windows down early is the most common cause of peeling edges.
