Some dynamic calibrations can be done mobile; many vehicles need a static calibration with targets in a controlled space. If yours does, we do the windshield and the calibration together at our El Cajon shop so it meets spec.
Yes. We work with all major carriers and bill them directly. In California, comprehensive coverage often waives the deductible on windshield repair — call and we will check your policy first.
About 60 minutes for the swap, plus a safe-drive-away time for the urethane to cure — usually about an hour. Add time if the vehicle needs ADAS calibration.
If the chip is smaller than a quarter, not in the driver’s direct sightline, and has not reached the edge of the glass, we can usually repair it. Once a crack spreads past about three inches, replacement is the safe call.
Plan on about one hour before driving so the urethane sets. We give you an exact safe-drive-away time when we finish.
