A standard vehicle takes about two to four hours depending on the make, model and how many windows are being tinted. Call before 10:00 AM and we can usually get you in the same day.
California allows 70% VLT on the front side windows, and any darkness on the rear side windows and rear windshield. The windshield may only have a clear UV film or a 4-inch strip at the top. We will walk you through the limits before we apply anything, so you do not end up with a fix-it ticket.
Wait three to five days. The film needs that time to fully cure and bond to the glass. Rolling the windows down too early is the most common cause of peeling edges.
All of our auto glass replacements and repairs are performed in-shop at our El Cajon facility. A controlled environment is the only way to guarantee a perfect urethane seal and correct ADAS calibration, so we do not compromise on it.
